BULK Token TGE: What 30% Community Allocation Actually Means
BULK Exchange has confirmed 30% of total token supply for community distribution — the same allocation structure as Hyperliquid's $7B+ HYPE airdrop. This page covers what is confirmed about BULK tokenomics, the Genesis Phase trading window, and what happens at TGE.
Update — June 3, 2026: kdot (BULK team) stated in Discord last night: “we want atleast 2 quarters to build out the exchange to endstate/get to a certain level of traction on mainnet before we consider TGE.” With mainnet targeting mid-2026, this pushes TGE to late 2026 at the earliest. The Windows below reflect confirmed mechanics — treat TGE timing as 6+ months from mainnet launch, not concurrent with it. See the full Discord intel breakdown.
BULK Exchange has confirmed 30% of total token supply is allocated to the community. The TGE — Token Generation Event — follows mainnet launch, but kdot has confirmed the team wants at least two quarters of mainnet traction before proceeding.
This page covers what is confirmed, what the Hyperliquid comparison means in practice, and the three windows that matter most.
What Is Confirmed
30% community allocation — confirmed via official @bulktrade communications, independently verified across multiple sources. This is an unusually large community allocation.
The mainnet timeline — community inference points to TBA, based on Twitter signals and testnet competition completion (May 28). This is not an official confirmed date.
The Genesis Phase — the first 30 days of mainnet. Zero maker fees across all volume tiers. This is documented in the fee architecture.
What is not yet confirmed: Total supply, vesting schedule, precise Aura points conversion formula, specific eligibility criteria, exact TGE date.
The Hyperliquid Comparison
Hyperliquid distributed 31% of HYPE supply to community users — the largest perp DEX airdrop in history. At peak HYPE price, that represented billions of dollars to traders who had used the platform before TGE.
The structural parallel to BULK:
| Dimension | Hyperliquid (2024) | BULK Exchange (2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Community allocation | 31% | 30% (confirmed) |
| Platform type | Perp DEX | Perp DEX |
| Ecosystem token | HYPE | BULK |
| Pre-TGE farming mechanism | Points (retroactive) | Aura points |
| Native LST | No | BulkSOL |
| Settlement chain | HyperEVM | Solana |
The comparison matters for one reason: allocation structure. When 30% of supply goes to users, the TGE is a distribution event at scale. Hyperliquid’s 31% created multimillionaires from traders who used the platform before anyone was paying attention.
BULK is smaller today than Hyperliquid was at its TGE. That’s both the risk and the opportunity.
The Three Windows That Matter
Window 1: Pre-Mainnet (Now — June 1)
The highest points-per-action window. Before the Aura mechanics are documented, early participants earn points asymmetrically. The rules publication transfers the advantage from early participants to everyone equally.
Actions in this window:
- Connect wallet + Twitter to early.bulk.trade
- Trade on testnet, close positions, climb the leaderboard
- Acquire BulkSOL on Titan
- Deposit BulkSOL on Exponent Finance
Read the airdrop checklist for the full priority list.
Window 2: Genesis Phase (June 1 — June ~30)
The first 30 days of mainnet. Zero maker fees. This is the window for:
- Real trading with real capital
- Highest-leverage trading for fee-sensitive market makers
- Maximum volume accumulation for tier advancement
- Real BulkSOL exchange fee revenue begins
Who benefits most from Genesis: Market makers who can deploy significant capital during zero-fee periods. Taker fees still apply (2.2–3.5 bps), but maker fees are zero regardless of volume tier.
Window 3: Aura Points Reveal + Snapshot
When BULK publishes the Aura points documentation (expected around mainnet), the specific scoring formula goes live. Any gap actions identified at that point should be completed before the snapshot date.
The snapshot date is the cutoff for allocation measurement. Until the snapshot is announced, treat every day as if it’s the last day before snapshot.
What the BULK Token Does
Based on ecosystem design, the BULK token is expected to have utility in:
Validator governance: BULK validators earn 12.5% of exchange trading fees. The token likely plays a role in validator set governance and fee parameter decisions.
BIP-1 permissionless perps: Listing a permissionless perpetual market (when BIP-1 launches) will likely require BULK token involvement — governance approval, listing fees, or both.
Fee discounts: Most exchanges offer fee discounts for holding or staking the native token. BULK will likely follow this pattern.
Staking: Locking BULK tokens to participate in network security or fee distribution.
None of this is confirmed — it’s the expected utility based on the architecture and comparable protocols. The official tokenomics document has not been published as of May 2026.
How to Position Before TGE
Confirmed directly by kdot in Discord (June 3, 2026): the two signals the team explicitly cited as earning more allocation are (1) committing real funds early via pre-deposits, and (2) trading on mainnet. Everything else below layers on top of this.
The team-confirmed two-step:
- Pre-deposit USDC at early.bulk.trade/deposit — earns AURA each Saturday (USDC × time held formula)
- Trade on mainnet — kdot explicitly named this as the second allocation leg
Additional high-conviction actions:
- BulkSOL holding — on-chain capital commitment, earns weekly AURA
- Ecosystem participation — Exponent, Loopscale, Titan interactions
- Referrals — 1 AURA per $100 referred through each weekly snapshot
The single most efficient position: pre-deposit now to start earning the time-weighted AURA formula, then trade actively once mainnet launches. The farming window is longer than most assume — kdot confirmed the team wants 2+ quarters of mainnet traction before TGE.
Risk Disclosure
The BULK token TGE date, total supply, vesting schedule, and specific allocation criteria are not yet documented. This article analyzes what is confirmed and provides reasonable inference on the rest.
Past airdrop comparisons (Hyperliquid) are for structural reference only and do not predict BULK’s outcomes. The BULK token may have significantly less or significantly more value than Hyperliquid’s HYPE at any comparable stage.
Not financial advice. Do not allocate capital you cannot afford to lose entirely.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the BULK token TGE date? No official TGE date has been announced. Mainnet is expected TBA based on community inference. TGE typically follows mainnet launch by days to weeks.
How much of BULK supply goes to the community? 30% of total supply, confirmed via official BULK communications. This matches Hyperliquid’s 31% community allocation structure.
What will the BULK token be used for? Full tokenomics have not been published. Expected uses based on protocol design: validator governance, fee discounts, BIP-1 market listing, and potential staking.
Can I buy the BULK token before TGE? No. The BULK token does not exist yet. You can position for allocation by farming Aura points (testnet trading, BulkSOL holding, ecosystem participation).
